Q: What is the return policy?
A: We at Hipster Yak want our customers to enjoy an unforgettable shopping experience. Therefore our team is responsible for selecting the best products to guarantee a quality purchase.
As part of the experience, we know that on some occasions we will not be able to meet your expectations. Therefore we will do our best to provide returns or refunds on a case by case basis so that you can continue to enjoy shopping with us.

In the unfortunate case you receive a defective or damaged item, please send us an email and we will be more than happy to send you a full refund. We want to make sure you’re happy so please reach out to us on the contact us page.
Received Wrong Item
If you received an item that is different from what is described, please send us an email with a brief description along with your order number. We will be able to accommodate you with either a refund or a replacement. Please see our contact us page to reach us. Please note that direct unilateral product exchange is not possible due to limitations in the ordering platform, and we are not entitled to send out products on our own initiative.
Did Not Receive Item
In the unfortunate case you did not receive the item you, please make sure to check the estimated delivery time frame before contacting us. Our shipping times are generally 14-25 days after the order has been processed.
If your item still has not arrived, please go to our contact us page and we will be glad to do everything we can do accommodate you.
Q: When are returns/refunds not acceptable?
A: In order for us to continue offering great value at Hipster Yak, we unfortunately cannot honor return/refunds when the buyer no longer wants the item after it’s been purchased and used. We do our best to keep our prices low while providing a great value for the customer. Therefore the buyer should make sure he or she wants to buy the item before submitting the order.
A: If the order has not been fulfilled and shipped, we will provide a full refund back to the original form of payment. However if the order was fulfilled and shipped, we unfortunately cannot provide a refund until the shipment is delivered and returned back to us. Once we hand off to the shipping company (USPS, FedEx, DHL, China Post, etc), we will not be able to stop the shipment. Therefore all orders processed will not be eligible for refund right away until the product is returned back to us.
Q: How does the 30 day money back guarantee work?
A: If the customer no longer wants the item and would like to return, we will provide a full refund after the customer has shipped the product back to us in the original packaging the item was received within 30 days. All items returned back without its original packaging will result in 35% re-stocking fee. Please note that we do not cover the shipping cost and therefore the return will be at the customer’s expense. Once the item has been returned back, we will process a refund to the original form of payment. *Please note that international shipping fees may apply as our warehouses are located all over the world.
Q: Are free giveaways or promotion deals eligible for return?
A: Free giveaways or promotion related discounted products are not eligible for return. These offers are given for the benefit of the customer at the cost of Hipster Yak's expense.
Q: How long does it take to receive a refund?
A: Once a return has been processed, please note that it may take up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your account statement. If you do not see your refund, please contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look into the issue!
